In 5 mansos, Elías Aguirre explores the idea of death through characters that symbolize cultural archetypes and different attitudes towards the inevitable end. The performance investigates how figures such as the disciplined and sacrificed (as a salaryman or a kamikaze), the one who fears death and remains trapped in his past, and the one who lives carefree ignoring it (represented by a naïve child) face this moment. The play seeks to reflect on our relationship with death and how it can redefine our priorities in life. The project is also presented as a video-creation available online, with original music by Ed is Dead.
