The dance of the depths
The abyssal depths of the oceans inspire the new creation of Cía Elías Aguirre. Just as the oceans hide unknown places and creatures in their depths, we humans harbor unknown, unconscious forces within us. Shyness often acts as a barrier, preventing these forces from manifesting themselves… but what is really hidden behind a shy attitude or a shy face? Is it possible to contain an “entity” whose true nature we do not know?
This is the approach from which SHY BLUE “the shy blue” starts, a piece that explores body expression following the animal-inspired trail of previous productions: Longfade, Lucha o vuelo and Flightless.
