Insects have a life that we may compare to a dance: short, ephemeral and intense. Bodies that support architectures, as we humans do with our invisible armours, with our shells and everyday´s burdens.
This piece tries to harmonize the heartbreaking features with the subtle beauty of what happens in the tiny and improvised scenarios of nature. “ying / yang” forces in permanent dialogue. What would happen if humans lived, every day, with the memory of memento mori of a primitive insect? Perhaps our life, also ephemeral, could present itself as an atavistic and sublime dance. Dance, conscious living.
“I love the life of insects, it contains all Shakespeare and Sade…”
