Depths Dance

The abyssal bottoms of the oceans inspire the new creation of Cía Elías Aguirre. Just as the oceans hide places and unknown creatures in their depths, human beings harbor the unknown, unconscious forces within us. Shyness acts often as a barrier of containment, preventing these forces from manifesting … but what is truly hidden behind a timid attitude or face? Is it possible to contain an “entity” whose true nature we do not know?

This is the approach of SHY BLUE, a piece that investigates in the corporal expression continuing the wake of animal inspiration from previous productions: Longfade, Lucha o vuelo and Flightless.
