87grillos

87 grillos was originally (2008) the initial name of the resident Company in Vallecas, Madrid Elias Aguirre. Currently 87grillos, represents a type of work that combines dance and physical theater, one of the projects that the company Elias Aguirre has. This project was named “Dónde suenan los grillos”.

Characters, in an imaginary garden, interact as if it were an ecosystem with its own internal balance. Girls, mimes, homeless and other characters where they use contemporary dance, urban dance, gestural and video projections to interact each other.

A space enclosed in the city which in turn gives life to it, is the lung of the city. The only place “where crickets sound “.
